Well, it looks like I will have to do this on a budget if I can do all my suspension, rear end, and supporting mods. So I need to know what your budget builds consist of and what #'s your putting down(what heads and cam xxx/xxx xxx/xxx lsa). I'm looking for a nice and choppy lope, but do not want to have to spin it to 6300 or more to see the power! My car is not a DD. BYW its a 2000 ws6 m6 w/60000 on the clock. current mods include FLP LT's, lid, pro 5.0, dr, and a tune.
Thanks,
Nick

i bought a pair of ported and polished 241 heads that came with hardened pushrods and 918 springs installed off ebay that were milled .035 for $465 shipped, then i bought a cam off a guy here for $230.06 shipped. it is a texas racing 224r cam. i also have pacesetter long tubes and a y pipe. with this combo i will be seeing at least 400whp and 400lbs on my street tune. the cam makes all the power before 6500 and if u look around on here u can find deals like this to its not that hard took me about a month to find this looked everyday and just kept posting. but for 695 bucks id say it was well worth it thats the price of 1 head that some people want to sell. and as for suspension if u cant find used jegs sells some pretty good **** thats cheap along with edelbrock also

I bought a brand new pair of Stg 1.5 cnc ported 241 heads with double valve springs, 2.02 intake valves and a 230/232 604/604 113+1 LSA cam for $1000. I then bought a Fast 90 and a PTM TB for $1000. Bought everything else I needed for $400. So for about $2400 I bought a H&C, fast 90/90, oil pump, head bolts and gaskets, ls2 timeing set, and pushrods. Should see from 430-450 RWHP when its all said and done with my prior bolt ons and tune.
