Default Does stock 99 LS1 cam have gm part# on it?
Was cleaning garage to sell some stuff & found cam from 99 Z28 I parted out. Only has Y & 1 on the end of it. My vette cam had a part # on it. Any chance this is something aftermarket?

Thanks, so the Y1 stamped may be stock. Like the X2 on your 98 cam. Was the part # on the end? All I have is the Y & 1.

The X and the 2 looked like they were stamped by hand. The other numbers were machine etched/stamped very lightly.

Engine was supposedly a 99 but it has 241 heads so it's a later 2000 engine. This cam was used through 2000 from what i understand.

I guess mine is stock, but i dont have any other numbers other than the big Y & 1 on the end of the cam. Were those numbers on the end or somewhere between the lobes?
