I work tomorrow till about 1 in Lake Mary. Does Robert have a set of pushrods? If not, I will just throw them in my car. I am willing to bet they will solve the problem, but before you cam it and spray it, either get someone with a fiberoptic scope to take a look, or just pull the heads. Pain in the a.., but a set of pistons is cheaper than a block when your broken piston f's it up.
I don't know man. Honestly, pull the pushrods and see what they look like. Perhaps if they aren't too bad you got lucky. I would just be worried with a cam and spray. It is not your daily driver, so worst case, you get to spend lots of money. Like I said, pull the pushrods, replace, and give it a whirl. What do you have to lose? Pushrods are free, and gaskets should be reusable....
Waiting on a tune. Upped boost to around 7psi, and did Thunder Racing Blower cam. Hoping for 450-500hp....... Filled, smoothed, and painted a LS6 intake. Looks great under the hood, and nice LED hidden lights for the night shows. Mid march for the tune, then it will be at more shows....

i painted my intake... but not as skilled as you probably painted urs. u should pm me a quote sometime. I would like mine a lot nicer.

The cam sounds good. Robert gave me some tuning stuff to get startup better. Cam is specs are 214/230 .601/.579 117lsa. Idles ok. No missing cam in the exhaust sound.
The intake painting is a PITA. You will have to see mine and we can talk. It definately makes the car look good. I painted the LS6 same color as LS1 I did. I did a better job with the front fill, but here is a couple pics of the first one that you can see it...I have since polished the shiny stuff and black rubber stuff....
