Congrats bro!

Sure 400RWHP would've been nice, but those numbers are still on par. That's a nice power gain from where you were before.

.... And your car sounds soooo much meaner!

you had at least another 500-700 RPM left in it before power dropped off. i bet you would have made over 400 if it was revved out more.

Yeah I have the same cam and my favorite part of the hp curve is that its almost flat from 6k to 6750 it holds great on top end and still has great midrange. Here's my graph to compare. No UD pulley for me. Other than that I think everything else is the same.

We did take it to 6500 on one run and it did not pick up any power. The hp stayed the same all the way to the limiter. After i get the new clutch and break it in might get back on the dyno and see if anything changes. Just to make sure the clutch was not robbing me of any power.

Our graphs look damn near identical

For some reason i feel like i will be able to hit 400 next time. But it really isn't that important. As long as the power is too low and it runs good than im happy

Nice, look at that trq at 3K rpm.
You kinda cut it off early though 6K, that cam hasn't even reached peak yet, you would have sqeezed a few more ponies out.
Did you degree the cam?

It seems that you can hold that flat power band at top for another 300-400 RPM.

Yea i really like the torque of this cam. We took it to 6500 on a run and it peaked at 6k every time and held the same power to the limiter. No i did not degree the cam

When i race the car i will probably shift at about 6200 because it still makes the same hp. I will re dyno the car after i get the new clutch and break it in. I will make sure i have a graph that shows you guys the 6500 pull. I also want to make another pull because my clutch is hurt and i would like to make sure that didn't rob me of a few ponies.

So do you have all the parts for your h/c package?

Looks like if you would have pulled it to 6200-6400 you would have gotten a few more ponies because it never peaked on the graph. Congrats though. A small tip as well, at the race track, to run fast you don't shift at the peak hp. You need to rev past peak so that it will fall back into the power and recover better on the shifts.

Yea i know i want to go past the peak so it falls back into the sweet spot after i shift.

I will have to get on the dyno after the new clutch and run it to 6500 for you guys
