Default h/c selection help

look at the specs of the heads and cam on this for me http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=12226 tell me how much power u think it will make threw a 6spd ls1 ss with long tubes and full xhuast and no cats with a fast 90/90 with stock injectors?

ALSO

my goals r low 12s with traction and 445-465whp, is this setup to much or not enough for that

for suspension i would have 305 or 315 nittos with torque arms and adjustable control arms

stay away from anything slp. its all crap.

that cam is not large by any stretch. afr heads rock, but i still wouldnt buy them from slp. you could probably pick a deal up on the boards, either in the for sale or from a sponsor.

and that combo wont make 450rwhp. very very much doubt it would put down that much.

My cam is smaller than that and I made over 450 untuned.

That combo should be over 450 with a 90MM intake/Tb combo and the other common boltons.

Nothing really wrong with SLP besides their stuff being overpriced and their headers having bad ground clearance.

we installed this kit on a 2001 ss at the shop i work at. the customer had us order this kit directly from slp and install it. the car started with SLP headers, slp lid, k&n filter, slp sheet metal "ram air" intake, ls6 intake manifold, slp smooth bellows, msd wires, slp dual dual exhaust, slp high flow cats and off road Y-pipe. then we added the "SLP 525hp" heads and cam kit, slp timing chain, plugs, and slp oil pump. after the install he took the car and had it dyno tuned. it only put down 416rwhp with all that stuff! my advice would be to DON'T BUY IT! you could build twice as much power with that much money.
