Haven't seen many dynos from Edelbrock heads and 240cc sound a little on the big side for a 346. Air speed is the name of the game when building power under the curve. That said, there are a plethora of great cylinder heads from many manufacturers these days. The PRC stage 2.5 5.3L heads are making solid numbers and are some of the best bang for the buck. The AFR 205, ET 215 and Trick Flow 215 heads also have outstanding numbers. Tons of airflow with small runners.

^your rankings are based upon??

All 3 make excellent heads. I'll bet as more tfs and etp's get out there the h/c lsx bar will continue to rise. The decreased valve angles also will let you run some pretty large cam profiles without the need for a flycut.
