Default f13 cam?

im only a click away from finalizing my order?
futral f13 cam, with cam package.
any track times of this cam?
who thinks this will out do the tr230?
does it have a nice choppy idle?
im jus asking before i do it.

this cam was very popular about 1-2 yrs ago. search will find something.will probably dyno very similar

FWIW, I've had both cams years apart. I'll give ya the dyno #'s and the other differences and you can figure out which one is better.

GTP heads, stock gasket, TR230 as ground by TR, LS6 Intake, 1 3/4 TTS headers, stock ss exhaust, PT4400: 394 rwhp 393 rwtq

Same GTP heads, stock gasket, F13 114+1, Fast 90, 1 7/8 QTP's, TSP true duals, Fuddle 4000/1.7: 391 rwhp 333 rwtq

Same Dyno, Same tuner, Same 12bolt, Same 4.30 gear

never really noticed the tq differences til now, thats strange. F13 went 10.90's when I switched to a th350. Never got the TR230 to the track.

So you dropped 60 lbs of torque with the F13...?

I love my F13... lots of usable power on the streets and with good traction comes good ETs...

My old Z28 with the F13 went 11.6xs-11.7xs. Rough idle but not too bad. I daily drove the car for a year and loved it. My car with F13, LTs, TSP duals and lid put down 381 rwhp and 391 rwtq. The time in my sig was with a 150 shot on a all motor tune and slipping trans

that sound about right, those first posted tq # sound off for that cam. very good cam IMO, tuner and driver friendly, sounds nice and pulls hard on the street with good tq.

Looks like the Fuddles inefficiency raped your car out of 60 RWTQ or converter was unlocked for that particualr dyno run

F13, LS6 intake, all the other boltons, 4.30 gear=12.1@119 running out of gear, on street tires @3450 lbs. 370/364 on a mustang dyno.

yeah, idk I'm gonna have to look over all my dyno sheets and see if I can figure it out. My car has never done well in the torque dept. My current setup only does 425/372

112LSA, 2 degrees advanced and I think the idle is set to 950 or somewhere close.
