Yea, I completely agree. At least he was a newbie with his posts instead of with his wallet.

it has a nice lope at idle, shakes you a little from inside the car. you can tell its not stock. i have mine set to 900rpm but you could go lower to get more 'chop' if you wanted, its all in the tuning. i have mine set so off idle there is really no bucking or cam surge...

My info on performance gains from an LS6 intake was from Eastside Performance who has done a sh*tload of installs.(5-8 rwhp). Also saw an article in Hot Rod magazine which backed this up.
Fast intake (78mm)=15-20 h.p. gain.

This doesn't include a ported throttle body.

Yes,I've been a member since '01 and had my car since '98 and have read every article since.
IMHO, 15 RWHP from an LS1 intake to LS6 intake alone is hogwash.
If anyone has proof otherwise, let's see it.

FYI Fast advertises a 20 h.p. increase on a LSI and 15 h.p.
increase on a LS6. (TSP catalogue) Do the math.

one question I have about the LS6 intake upgrade is; where do you see the increase in HP; thoughout the entire RPM range or just top end? Any dyno charts out there with before and after results?
