Default When changing lifters!!!

Is there anything I need to pay special attention to when putting everything back together. I know the torque specs, but if anyone has any additional advice, I would appreciate the help..

Soak em in oil first and do NOT overtorque the bolts for the plastic lifter cup (you'll pull the threads right out). I'd probably use a little locktite on them too.

Definately soak them in some oil overnight. Simple preventative medicine.

If your installing new lifters, clean them up with some mineral spirits first to clean out any gunk build-up from packing. Then soak them in oil.

for the head bolts, I had a hard time getting a clar view of the rear center bolts on each side, if you got a digital camera handy, reach back and take a pic so you can see the mark you put on more easily, though of this after I was done of corse!

Or you could use a very old-fashioned device known as a mirror! :p
