You guys that say, "When I change my oil, it's 1 or 2 quarts low." You do know what the oil dipstick is for don't you? Check it every week at least!

 

thats what it was, M1 0-40

change my oil this weekend, oil came fairly clean looking for how bad i thought it was gonna be, noticed some wierd **** in the pan so cut open the filter and got nothing, figured must have already been in the pan i was draining into cuz we had oiling problems with out vette a while back.

put in fresh M1 5-30 and voila, lifters quieted back down, oil pressure higher than ever, car runs like a freaking dream haha

 

Thats good Jordan. Now keep an eye on your oil level!

 

oil level was perfectly fine with the old stuff even. it about halfway on the full/add line
