I do apologize if I seem like I am trolling but I haven't read all 4 pages on your issue. I can recommend someone in Indiana who is very reputable and may be able to tell you of someone in your relative area.

Mike Norris
mikenorrismotorsports.com

He uses hp tuners and has been in this business for many years. No bullshit from him and the only problem you could possibly have besides a tuning issue is a vaccum problem that I can think of. Sure there are other possibilities but those are the ones I can think of.

Hope this helps!

OH! I forgot. I had a similar issue and since I had hptuners I was able to see that my tb voltage was fluxing when it shouldn't have been. Heat seemed to be causing a broken throttle position sensor to go wacky at certain times. Its a cheap sensor to replace and this was something Mike Norris suggested to me about 5 years ago and it fixed it.

i have a torquer v3 and it almost never surge or stall at all even at very low rpm. Tuned by Texas speed. You have the smaller torquer v2 and you are having problems so its definitely in the tune! Goodluck on your cam swap. What cam are you going to go with?

i have check out every sensor and all ok, i am only pulling 9 of vacume tested with vacume gauge at same time 72kpa at idle on scaner, doesn't it seem to be low?. baro was 102kpa, could a leaky intake cause all this trouble

definitely check to make sure there aren't any wires squeezed between the intake manifold and the engine block in the back. There are a few back there that can do that.

I have a V2 and my tuner did a great job. I can let the clutch out slowly at idle and roll out without a problem. I can cruise at low rpms in 2nd through 6th without any trouble. But in 1rst gear between 1000 and 2000rpms, it will start to buck and the suspension in the car will exagerrate it with each buck. I can anticipate this now and just push in the clutch, then roll out again. It's a very small rpm window when it happens and I don't consider it a problem at all. I just get around it by changing my driving tactics. My guy did "in car" tuning, BTW. He spent over an hour with me driving around in different situations, loads, rpms and speeds. Personally, I think thats the only way to go.

I have the same cam and it surges just the same.. I found that cruise around 2k instead of 1500-1700 gets rid of it.

Why arent the cam specs anywhere in here? Put them in the first post and then people can relate.

I had a 224/230 cam on a 112. In an M6 car, and swapped 3.23 gears for a bit. It bucked bad, but I messed with it, leaned it out and retarded the timing.... i could cruise in town in 4th gear and it never bucked again. You just need to finess the tune thats all.

Maybe post this in the tuning section also.
