U cant throw ETs around without looking at the cars weight and most of the H/C cars I've seen that run 11.20 or better are 3400 minimum.

There are a few exceptions...

And BEAR,Like I said I made 441RWH/399RWT threw a 10-bolt/3.73..The car was NEVER raced that way bro.

It went to the track making 429/394 at 3550lbs.
It ran 11.17,11.19,11.22 and 2 11.32's all at 120+

Danger Dave then drove it (3460) to a 11.14,11.14,11.15 and 2 11.19's @122+ and this was in -300 DA's.

I also have about 10 times the runs u have on your car with my setup so saying I dont race my car is hilarous.

U my friend were the one who NEVER raced his car.. UNLESS YOUR WIFE WAS DRIVING

Back to the post...
U can make 420 to 450RW with the right parts but this doesnt garuantee anything.Track prep, weight,da,etc all play a factor.

Joe does a mean set of heads,God knows I went 11.40's@118 with his 2nd set of S1 heads he ever ported and a TR224 cam.He wont do u wrong bro,Just get the whole package and have it tuned by a reliable tuner like Cartek,Mikey or Eastside..

Good luck

hey Brent, Ive seen plenty of y-body's running 125+ mph, its a vette, they mph faster thatn an f-body, especially with some wieght out of them , I saw a cam only z06 run 125 mph. Phillips car runs very well and i dont see it going any faster if it was an auto unless he cant 60ft the car, phillip sounds like a good racer

ZO6 =3100lbs
Thats the biggest advanage of that car...

Try running 125MPH at 3500lbs...
I've gone 123 at 3460 but thats about the best I think I'm ever gonna see.

Imagine my motor in a 3100lb Vette...

Terry B did run 128 with a LU switch and at 3100lbs dynoing at 446RW so it can be done but its not that easy,EVERYTHIG has to be right...

Heres a ball of **** for you all... I dynoed 427 rwhp through my A4 and only managed a best 12.445 at 113.5. HP does not automatically equal ET. I had a stock converter and its a full optioned convertable.
New tranny and verter numbers will be posted after the weekend.

Exactly my point,Numbers mean nothing until the car is setup properly.

But u would think if someone was making killer power that they would get the car ready to really lay a # down after 2 months?I guess its a personal preference and not really that important to some people as much as others,I see where my opinion could be narrow-minded..

Take care all.
