If youre going to stay stock bottom end I would go with a mild cam. The stock powder cast pistons cant handle much over 380RWHP before you will crack one like I did...then its buku bucks and you will end up buying a new cam anyway.

^^^^Strange..

There are hundreds of people with stock bottom ends making 400+. Hell even 500+ with N20, and I don't see them BREAKING pistons at all...

Its usually bearings that I see go, or valves that come in contact with the piston.

500rwhp is more than common with stock bottom ends

Get a stall before a cam. And you will get as many answers to your question as you get responses. Some people think a TREX is good for a DD. To me it's too much.... It all depends on how big a cam your willing to live with.

with your current combo, stay in the 220s range @050, otherwise if 3:73s and 3600+stall is in order down the road, a cam in the 232+ range @050 will do the job just fine.

X3. You'll run quicker with a converter than the cam. Cam will also be easier to live with if you do the stall first.
