Joe Prince Racing ROCKS!!!!!
Just got my car back last Saturday from JPR; drove it from New Jersey to Cleveland, OH.
Here is what I had done:
JPR rebuilt 348 LS1, all new race bearings throughout, custom pistons, ARP bolts, JWIS chain, Z06 ported oil pump, crane lifters, JPR S2 2.02 1.50 heads, TR 224/224 561/561 112, Isky springs, , titanium retainers, LS6 intake, NGK-TR55, Accel 9000 wires, JPR ported throttle body.
Due to some timing issues we did not get the car on the dyno, however Joe is flying out to Cleveland to make it happen.
First impressions; I could not touch the gas over 3K without the back end sliding out, on Nittos. The car pulls like no tomorrow, all the way across the board. Idle is awesome, has not stalled since I picked it up ( 600 miles ago ). Gas mileage was around 29!!!! on the drive home. How's that for heads and cam car? Driveability is IMHO better than stock was. For anyone contemplating H/C, good lord is this awesome. Great cam.
Joe truly is putting a great package together. His heads were ported for what I do; autox and road race. Joe is a really great guy too, and knows his stuff. He will take however long it takes to explain whatever you want to know.
As soon as I get dyno numbers ( within the next 2 months ) I'll post.

Great to hear that you are happy..... see I told you it was worth the wait.
My head bolts finally arrived this week, and with any luck my new setup should go on this weekend.
I heard your car was sweet and ran very well.
p.s.
...check out the Avitar.....

Good deal, glad your bolts finally showed. Speaking of sweet, the cam sounds phenomenal through FLP's with ORP. Well worth the wait, no doubt. To anyone thinking JPR ( nice Avitar! ), you will get top notch quality service and care.
Joe actually CARES about you, your car, and what you plan on doing with it. And he'll give you his shirt off his back to make you happy.
p.s. - I have pics of the heads and block up on my site

Awesome! Glad to hear that another good package came out. I am still finishing up my car, but I too am fairly excited about what should happen. Good Luck with your car, and get that thing to a dyno for some tuning! Can't wait till the spring.

Yeah Viper I am still at Classic BMW. I am debating on throwing the juice on my SS! I think I am going to install a Moser 12 bolt with 4.30s in our 00 WS6 and a RAM 910/402 clutch, LS6 intake, QTP headers(OR pipe), and a Hooker Catback! I am debating on tearing into the motor. MY fiance drives the T/A and I wanna remain emission legal with that car. I think we can hit mid 12s without H/C!!!! It will be fun trying! Nothing better then cruising the town in a NBM RAM AIR T/A and spanking guys left and right, with my girl doing the driving

I've never spoken to anyone at JPR but it sure does sound like they care about their customers car unlike some tek other places. JPR

Re: Joe Prince Racing ROCKS!!!!!
Viper would you be interested in joining my car club? We have about 12 cars and at least 6 more are joining as soon as their cars get done, We have a couple satngs with nitrous, a LT4 vette, several Lt1 f-bodies and several Ls1s. We meet up just about every weekend at Annibelles and we are going to rent either Thompson or Norwalk. The couple that has the Lt4 Vette do A LOT of AUTOX...so you would like that. I plan to do it too. My fiance really wants to get involved in autoX too, she can really drive the M6. She had a plain jane Talon before I met her. I taught her how to drive a real car and she can now drive as good as anyone I know and better then most I know! My email is scorpionracin@ameritech.net

Congrads on your setup...Joe/Tommy do great work. I've been a customer and friend of Joe's for 3 years now. And you're right, he'll stay up all night if he has to to get your car done. His S2 head/TR224 combo rocks! My full weight 2002 WS6 ran 11.99 @ 116mph with the stock converter and stock gears Can't beat that. Now I'm bolting on a blower, I'm gonna have Joe or Tom do their magic on my heads for the blower. Should be very interesting.
Hey Bri, you getting heads??? Thats awesome. You're gonna love them. I can't wait til it gets warmer so we can get another party setup Take care.
