I dont but have you considered getting some budget heads like patriot some 243 heads you can pick up for just over a grand with nice springs retainers and valves? Just my 2 cents just seems like a waste to mess with the stock heads unless its a money issue but if thats the case I wouldent even bother.

hello, i agree with last post. you can get budget heads from TSP , PATRIOT, or livernois for like $900 to 1k. why would you pay $500 plus to port yours? you'll get higher flow from mild 243 ls6 heads than your stockers. just my 2 cents. i love my budget heads, just wish i went with a slightly bigger cam

A simple clean-up port job on the factory heads, done by hand, by a professional but not cnc (that's why it's cheaper). I'm also talking fwhp, not rwhp.

I dont think its worth the cash to mess with the 241 heads if it was then you would see a aftermarket for them their is no way your going to get as much of a preformance gain of of the 241 heads compared to a built after market head.
Your only talking about 500 or so more for the head, either way you have to get new bolts gaskets and fluids so no extras their.
I would say you have to ask yourself is 500 worth a head that will out preform the stock head no matter what you do to it? It is for me hell, 500 bucks more, I spend more on tires. Hell you could spend 200 or more buck on a MAF that maby gives you 5hp same thing with an under drive pully.

Maybe some people don't have $1000 to drop on heads but they DO have $350. What else can you do to your car for $350 that will gain 30-40 hp?? If you have the money down the road to buy aftermarket heads then by all means, do that, then turn around & sell your ported stockers & get most if not all of your money back.
