No sir since the cheapest I can find for a brand new rods is 100 bucks a piece from the dealership. Plus it needs to be balanced again right?

I wasn't talking about brand new. You should be able to find them used for pretty cheap. Hell I have a set I'd sell ya for $100. They should be pretty close to other rods of the same design (ie pressed pin vs. floating pin) as far as the bobweight is concerned.
