I was going to say the same thing, but wanted to see what you are planning. You can get some forged rods really cheaply. I would absolutely go with forged rods. Speed Inc carries the scat rods in both I beam, H beam, .945 and .927 pins really cheap. If you look at it the difference is only about $250-400 brand new between buying rods vs. stock rods with good rod bolts.

.945 wrist pin diameter is your stock ls1 sizing
most of the aftermarket forged piston/rod combos actually use the traditional small block chevy components, in which case your wrist pin sizing is .927
make sure if you get .945 diameter wrist pin rods that the pistons match em and vice versa
dont get the factory. if you really price em out its actually about the same price to get some real nice forged units. the stockers, athough some of the nicest stock gear ive seen from gm, are way overpriced.
personally id get the callies compstar rods if you can, at about 600 bucks for a set.
the next step down thatll be rated to 700 hp i beleive would be either the scat or the eagle H-beam rods for standard small block chevy. talk to john roberts at texas speed about these. I think the scats and the eagles are the same rod, really, with a different manufacturer stamping. they come with the upgraded ARP rod bolts for a total of around 400 bucks and are used by TSP in their own stroker packages.
dont forget to get bearings with em, while your there. they're cheap enough that it would be silly to not replace em. i checked all of mine and the copper cam bearings were just fine, and a real nice unit to boot so i left em there and replaced the rod and main bearings.

The floating pins from the factory were also .945" IIRC!

So what's size od for the wrist pin bushings do I need? I assume .945" and .927 won't fit? I have to get one custom made from crower and it is 25 each! no other places sell the bushings by itself.

Stock rod bushings. I can't find an aftermarket rods with stock .698" bore with .945 pin. Most of them have .927 pins and I can't use that since the machinist already ordered the Pistons which are for stock ls3 rods. My only option is to have him change the bushings .

Either that or just get the bushings made which is the cheapest option since the crank is already been balanced, rods already readjusted with arp2000 bolts. And I need the stock length rods which is 6.098" I beleive
