Default Comp R lifters

Hey guys i was just about to finish ordering the last few parts for my head and cam swap and just looking around and i was gonna get comp R lifters and on ws6store they say "Note: These lifters must be installed on egnines with adjustable rocker arms." so im not putting on adjustable rocker arms so i cant use these then or what. If not whats anthor good lifter to get

Buy a set of Morels or LS7 lifters. Dont run the comp r's

why you say that whats wrong with them and yea ive thought about the ls7 already

The old Comp R's are very good. PatrickG has used them with lots of success! They work great with adjustable rockers, but it's not required. You just have to get the correct preload. But I wouldn't use any made in the last couple years since they switched suppliers.
Check the classifieds...I have an un-used set of the old Comp R's still in the box.

I have a set that were installed in July 2005. Should I be worried about anything?? I haven't any issues to speak of yet.

Somewhere around mid-2006 they switched suppliers. So you're fine.

agreed, i have installed three setups prior to the 2006 switch and they run and continue to run flawless, i love mine. other than that the ls7 are a good budget piece.
