Dont think you can beat her, being
1) she's got a hawk
2) she can drive, she cant burnout, but she cuts lights
3) she is your wife, so if you beat her...no pie for you later.
4) think there is an order of merit list to get to her, first Rex, then whatever other M6, then You can step to the A4's.
Terrible if ya try jump on A4 races first, then I whoop ya.
OK...now that was funny Charles!!!!

And your probably right....no pie for me later if I win.

For those in doubt, there is a guy here, B Pay, that will be coming down to the island when his lil brother gets out of Basic Training. I haveinvited him to our track, not that it is great-it is open year round but rarely prepped. I am sure he will see PRDNME's car and can post on it then...

So many proven differences in our cars, and yet so many skeptics. I can see where some are coming from, but still its rather funnay at times. The shop owner that tuned this particular car dynoed his 99SS when it was stock and only pulled 277hp, that with a lid/filter I believe. And then too is the weather, we never have good dyno weather....almost always that 80*, and humid. But who cares about a sheet a paper when it comes to draggin the white slip is all that counts!

I'll be looking for that email when I get home!

If your really putting down those numbers, there must be something special in that tuning.

Not slamming you, but the specs on that cam and the HP numbers don't add up.

Do you have a chart showing your Air/Fuel?

Not sure if I have the chart, but I will look...but I know the A/F was sitting at 13.1 for the hole run.

I just looked at your file, a few things don't add up.

1st - How can you pull to 6,500 RPM's when your rev limiters are set to stock?

2nd - For your timing, from 0.6 gms/cyl - 1.2 gms/cyl and from 2,200 RPM's on up, all of those cells are set to 30 degrees of timing.

3rd - Power Enrichment (RPM), all of the values are 1.1754, 0-7,200 RPM's.

It would be interesting to see your Air/Fuel chart.

OK...your right on that one....I think I copied the wrong filefrom the shop...I'll have to go back down there and get all my file from their computer...

That is the wrong program, sorry about that!

Give me a little time and I will email you the right one!

I made 396 rwhp through a full exhaust, back in the day with a hotcam.

We did not have LS1Edit then.... I wonder what it would have done then?? ;-)

And that was before a Y-pipe that did this for me (after a shi++y set of heads and a hammer-cam):

So yeah...add to the 396 the Y-pipe 10 hp and the LS1Edit, and .... maybe it might be enough to make up for those SLP headers you're stuck with

Wow Chris! Those are amazing numbers without tuning!!! Obviously some cars just like the hotcam...but not very many!

Yes...the SLP LT's are already rusting...so they will have to go soon!!

The torque suprised us all..lots of and very flat!

I'll admit...that torque looks very unusua1. 400 rwtq from just a cam is rare. Frome a H/C/I its about 50%. But from a hotcam? Hrm.

Best I ever saw was 380-390 even with the Y.

Yeah that torque just looks sick, the curve looks real similar to my old car with TEA S2 heads, and a "hammer" cam. Thats crazy your making that kind of torque just with the hotcam

OK...That is the right program! Look under By Gear for rev limiter. The rest is right!

If these are corrected numbers then why do we keep emphasizing the horrid weather?

What did the car dyno before the cam?

if they were sae corrected It would say sae corrected, those are not corrected they are actual, go back to the shop were you dyno'd, have them pull the file and give you a grapf with sae corrected numbers

There isn't anything special in the tuning. The timing was 33 degrees for that run. Personally, I wouldn't run that at the track when it has a load. Fuel was a mix to obtain a 107 Octane that burned quick and still prevent detonation.
It actually took a shitload of runs to get that one, took a little over 5 hours to tune the thing and squeeze out the number.

There is no air/fuel ratio chart. We use a Autronic wideband in a bung. I don't care for the tail sniffer style, doesn't react quick enough in my opinion.

We let it run a little rich (12.9)down low to prop up the torque, it dropped to 13.0 at about 4800, ending the run at 13.2, which is where we like to end up on the dyno for a N/A car.

IMHO the run was a freak.
I think we need two more similar ( you know, same day, one after the other )runs to back it up or it shouldn't count. But that's my opinion.

Got alot of other runs at 399.5, 399.8, 399.7, etc. but that was the only one over the 400 mark.
Also the car had always been a freak, it made 380-something w/o edit, using the MAFT.
