Knock sensor questions

Knock sensor questions is there any way to test the knock sensor after you have pulled them. I had a knocking noise and somebody said when the knock sensors go out they make a knocking noise. but i heard that after i started to pull it apart Thanks

The sensors won't make a knocking noise. There is a test for impedance I believe but after you've pulled the manifold I would sure replace both (and the harness since the plastic clips get brittle with time and heat).
