Just wondering how many people have used the information on this website for the different installation processes? If so, did you follow it word for word and have success on your f-body? Or were there times when you would have to deviate from the process because of misleading information?

I hope it is pretty good info. I am going to use some of it this week when i change head gaskets. I have never done that on a v shape engine...so it should be fun.

well ever little bit of information helps when it comes to utilizing this information, and if there is anything wrong in the process, please keep us posted. I am interested in following this information later down the road when I do some different upgrades to my car that he has listed.

They are good guide lines. I still do my own research before starting a project.

That's not a bad idea, but somethings are just hard to find, or you have people screaming at you to use the search button on here even though you have for hours and found nothing..

I used it for a basic go by on my H/C swap. I didn't follow it word for word but I'm also very mechanically inclined. It is a good place to get instruction if you aren't 100% sure about what your doing.

Between the pics and writeup, I used the whole thing for my cam swap. I had never done one before and it turned out successful, so IMO that says something about the writeup. If you can turn a wrench and follow directions, ls1howto.com is very useful. Make sure you have the right tools for the job, makes all the difference between smooth sailing and total disasters.

Good site to let you know what your up against, fairly good narrative. Definately can get the job done using the instructions but have a Hanes or Chiltons handy for torque specs and to verify a few things.

The other part is having the right tools for the job makes it one heck of a lot easier as well. Being organized, labeling things. Having more than one parts box to categorize as you take it apart really helps in putting it back together instead of one big pile.

Used it for my LS6 intake swap. Worked great. Took my time and 3 hrs later started up and have not had a problem yet. If I decide to do my own cam swap, that is what I will be using.
