Smile New Cam Setup? For my 383 *Advice Please*

Well I have been thinking a little bit.

I am currently running the same cam that I was running when I had the 346, the cam is a TSP Custom Grind 231/235 .643"/.645" 113LSA, I went with this cam over a bigger duration cam because I was planning on daily driving the Camaro. Well now I no longer daily drive the car, so drive ability is out the window.

Car made 430rwhp/401lbft thru a unlocked auto, LS6 Manifold, Stock Injectors, ported TB, underdrive pulley, LT's, Duals, with PRC 2.5 Heads on the stock 346. I cannot find my current 383 dyno sheet but on the 346 the car made 400rwhp@5000rpm peaking at 430rwhp@6400

On the current 383 setup (4340 Crank 4.000 Stroke, H-Beam Rods 6.200, JE Pistons File Fit Rings, Cometic Gaskets 12:1)the car made 466rwhp/438lbft again with a unlocked auto with the same mods above.

When I took the car to Houston, I ran at Lonestar Raceway, only thing that changed was I had a stock crank pulley on the car, car went 11.18 with a best trap of 123 with a 1.6 60' in street trim with a +2500DA of the day.

I am looking for more power now, looking to do the following this year,

Rossler Th400 w/transbrake with an ATI Lock-Up Converter
Moser M9 with 3.70 or 3.89 Gears
Fast 90/90, Underdrive pulley, ARH Race Headers, Injectors, and probably run bullets off the headers since I am pretty sure you cannot run the TSP True Duals with the Torque Arm for the M9.
Then Drag Setup/Bogarts/Weight Reduction etc...

While undergoing the new setup, I want to make sure the 383 is getting all the air she can get, I dont want to leave power on the table, I am sure someone will chime in on a cam that would make more power, that is what I am looking for, "I wanna go fast" What Cam(s) should I be looking at changing to, or should I keep the current cam? The cam has to be Nitrous friendly, I am planning on doing a direct port/dual stage.

Any information is appreciated, Chris.

I had Futral Motorsports spec out my custom Cam Motion grind. Just let them know exactly how you intend to use the car. Strip/street-strip/or basicly street use - you will not be disappointed.

Are those the cam specs in your signature?

Call Futral and get a cam. I have a 239 243 in my 383 from them it it makes some good numbers. Through Dart 205 heads I was making 487 rwhp 473 rwtq.
