Crane 216/224 .551 lift cam anybody using it?
I am building a 69 with a LS1 engine swap. The car will have the usual bolt ons with LS2 heads, headers, LS6intake, Ported TB. I am running 3:42's and stock verter on a 4l60 but may do a cheap Trailblazer torque converter. I am going to freshen up the motor since it has 130k miles on it with bearings, rings, pump, and chain. This is a street car with street manners and I do not plan on dragging it. If I do it I would just want to see what it will do. I would like comments on this cam or what you guys think.

I'd say that it's an execellent street cam, according to the specs.. Make sure that you radius or port match the head inlets to the intake runners & you'll maximize the flow. I'm running a Comp 216/220 .556/.563 114 w/1.8 rockers & it's very streetable w/ excellent low end power & torque.

That was the other cam I was looking at and have an option to get some 1.85 rockers but I am doing this on a strict budget and want to keep the stock springs.
