those cams are exactly the same in duration and lsa, the best way would be to look at what the lift of each cam is to determine what is best for your application.

Not a bad choice one way or the other, the better deal will be your best bet. Your not going to get alot of lope from a 114 but it will make you happy.

I've got the TR224, I went with it because the lift is just a bit less and a it has proporietary lobe profile that together makes it easier on the valve train and it's still a proven cam. I believe the TSP lift and it's XE-R lobe profile will be harder on the valvetrain meaning more maintenance and less DD suitability. As far as HP, some see more out of the TR some see more out of the TSP, not sure if anyone has just taken one out and put the other in to do a side-by-side comparison. I'm also very happy with the powere numbers , see below...keep in mind that's with stock unported MAF, TB, and waterpump.

Oh and 125,000 miles on the clock - times were on Proxes T1S tires (true street) w/ a 2.1 60 foot time.

Get the 224R from texas speed. Overall all things equal because of the better lobes and higher lift it will make more power esp if u ever add heads.

Agreed, I put my vote for the TSP cam. Also dont worry about it being too lobey, It should be pretty tame Hope this helps
