the 116 Lsa will help with the idle, the stealth cam is a great cam for a stock or near car. You have a muscle car, use it my friend. That cam may not make as much power as the one you have now. Always a tradeoff...

Should make some sort of power. Might look into something with less lift so it's not so harsh on the springs. Generally cams with that much lift like fresh springs every once in a while, take that into consideration.

Check em around 20k miles and see how they are. Spring in it now are most likely fine for the new cam but it never hurts to check when you take the old cam out.

That cam looks like it uses Comp Cams LSK lobes, which are very hard on valve springs. If your looking for a 'high maintenance' lobe, this is it. It's also a single pattern cam that is probably designed for a forced induction application where boost helps to compensate for the intake/exhaust ratio in the cylinder heads. You would be better off with a dual pattern cam, unless you've had some serious work done on the exhaust to increase flow and support the single pattern cam.
IMHO, I would look at a dual pattern with less aggressive lobe. Quieter valve train, less valve spring maintenance, and better performance.
Happy motoring!

It is a LSK lobed cam, good Stealth and trq, -5* overlap, a bit more noticeable than the MTI S2 but still stealthy. I would recommend Patriot Extreeme Gold springs and 7.450 pushrods.
It will make more power than your cam, expect another 15 rwhp +/-

Are you Predator-Z's alter ego? I know he is more than capable of responding on his own.

Chill out dude. Geez.
I know you guys from Tejas don't like to be questioned because everything is bigger & better in texas but I gave you MY opinion on what Predator-Z was saying. I wasn't trying to read anything into his post

At those size durations, single pattern usualy make more trq. It is a matter of valve events.
And yes it will make more power than the S2, why?
1- more duration (a 227 LSK is actualy a 228.x
2- more lift (which act like a crutch and let more charge in and out of the chamber.)
Myself, I wouldn't spec that cam but that is because I have my philosophies and experiences.
