Default Worth extra $ for ARP Head Bolts on new MTI 427 Motor?

My brand new 427 MTI engine (LQ4) will never see any N20 or other form of F/I. I have been told by several knowlegable folks, that the stock LS6 head bolts are 100% fine for my N/A application with new motor, but wanted to get the opinion of my LS1 coleagues here to see if you think it is worth an extra $190.00 to upgrade to ARP Head Bolts?

Thanks for all opnions and suggestions here.

I am in the process of building a similer engine and I opted to go with arp studs. They're stronger and if the engine ever needs to be torn down it'll save time and money.

For the money you are dropping I would definately spend the money and do it. I don't care what anyone says it's piece of mind. Your going to have 10K minimum in the motor when it's done anyway. At least you know that the ARP's won't ever fail!

whats 200 bones compared to the 10000+ youve already spent <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> get em, no point in having a good engine without good parts.

ARP's are reusable. If your heads ever have to come off they pay for themselves.

You haven't gone cheap yet on that motor so why do it now? Go with the ARP head studs they are the best.

I ordered head studs with my MTI 422, BUT MTI <img border="0" alt="[punch]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_punch.gif" /> forgot to install studs and installed regular bolts. <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />
