Default 400 bucks for head install? good?

400 bucks to install my new 5.3s and put the springs I have now 918s with about 100 miles on them. what do u guys think

you can get a manual for 15 bucks, torque wrench for 60-100, and spring compressor for <100, and do it yourself. If your not the diy guy I'd say there are better prices, but as long as your installer is reputable, you get what you pay for.

I just installed a new set on my baby. If I had the money I might have paid someone--- not.

It did take some time to do it right.

if that includes gaskets and fluids you should go for it that is actually really really cheap.

400 is VERY cheap for a head install.... just make sure the person knows that they are doing or it could cost you 1400...

Cool I'm going to get the texas speed 5.3 heads I think for the price they just can't be beat.
