no i don't know the lobes. I did some more looking around and this cam seems more of a upper end cam on the RPM.

I used to run a cam that size duration, with less lift in a 327. Solid lift also with 210cc runner heads. Streetable, yes with high compression, but like 5w20 said, loss of low end. Thing felt like a 2 stroke bike though powerband wise, 3500 rpms it would pull like a ****.

I was the first GTO that HPE installed this cam in, and it is an LS1. There is no loss of low end! I would make sure your PTV clearance is enough with the new AFR. I went with Patriot LS6 Stage II 59cc heads with welded chambers because they maintained stock head tolerances. This is a comp cam and it peaks at 6350rpm on my setup.

The cam is too big for what you're after...You WILL lose low end while puttign around town. Even @ WOT the car is going to feel like a dog until about 4-4.5k RPMS unless you're running 4.10 gears or better.

I have in mind a Comp XE-R grind 228/230 LSA 114 or a 112. Or a 232/238 Lunati Voodoo. I have 3.73's in the car and 4.10's in the box new.

Wow, I didn't know my car feels like a dog around town. If I punch it I am gone, there is no loss of torque no lag! You act like it is a huge turbo that takes time to spool.

But then lose some due to the larger valves.
