Default Performance Valve Spring Kit Deals?

I believe in doing things right, but boy are lsx valve spring kits expensive! Comp Cams and Texas Speed reccomend the "921" dual valve spring for their 224/.566" cam. I'm in shock at the price they want for these suckers, anywhere from 485-600 bucks. My solid roller big block chevy valve spring kit wasn't near this much (about 225-275). Am I missing something here or is there some other place to purchase quality parts for my cam change? Help me out LS1 Tech community!

Patriot Gold Duals - WS6 Store - $255 free shipping. You don't really need a dual spring for that cam, but Comp 918s quality is suspect now, and by the time you add valve guide seals and titanium retainers to PAC beehive singles, you are way over the cost of the Patriots Gold Duals that come with all that.

I've never used the Comp 921 springs, and not sure why anyone at TSP would recommend them over our PRC spring kits:

The PAC racing 1218's are a very good match for your cam, $123:

I would run the PRC valve spring kit from Texas Speed.
