Default car is always pulling need help

ok well my car is always pulling even when i let off the gas and at stop signs i was told it was because my O2's were bad when a friends scanned my car with HP tuners well i just put brand new ones on it and the damn thing still pulls im pretty sure all my vaccum is correct like the pcv lines and all that so im kinda stuck i did switch the 98 heads to a 99 style could that be my issue and maybe i still dont have the pcv correct?? does anyone else have a 98 and switched to newer styles heads and have this problem????any help appreciated and if it matters i have a cam/heads/headers/stall converter and i have had it tuned

Sounds like either the throttle blade isn't shut all the way or ya have a bad vacume leak on the intake. I would check the blade to make sure it's not sticking open some

my car did this, perfect cruise control at 40 mph hahaha anytime i pulled the e-brake and put it in park the car would lurch forward. check your pcv line connecting to your throttle body, mine had a hole in it for the longest time and i think it got worse lately . . . and my IAC was dirty as hell so i cleaned that off. now my car runs perfect! btw 98 and 99 had the same style heads, heads didn't change till mid 2000

Did you modify you RAF tables with HPT? Having these too high will cause the symptoms you're describing... check the forums at HPTuners.

with a rag hahahaha when my buddy and i took it off we looked at it and it looked like it had chunks missing so as i was about to call around for a new one he says "wait let me try something" pulls his off his TA and it looks the same so he takes a cloth to both and says "there ya go, brand new dipshit!" hahaha i should've taken a pic of it cause it looked horrible and was causing my IAC failure SES code to come up, cleanin it off fixed my problem, good luck with yours! and thanks for the info on the heads

Might be even dumber, but check to see if your gas petal is getting stuck under the carpet.

I'm no tuner, but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with your IAC count being too high IIRC. If your too low, (not enough air), then you'll get the bucking and surging at low rpms, if your too high, then the car will pull. I'm just going from memory of my previous a4 car I had back in the day, so cut me some slack if I'm off a bit
