Default Comp 26915 springs with 02 Z06 cam?

Anyone run the Comp 26915 or the Pac 1215 springs with the 02 and up Z06 cam ? Both these springs have 105lbs. seat pressure @ 1.800", which is higher than the yellow Zo6 springs 90lbs. And they have 293lbs. at 1.200" but it seems they may have lower pressure at the .551" lift of the cam than the GM LS6 yellow springs. Thanks for any experience shared

Why?
The Z06 spring is perfect for the 02 Z cam?

Default 26915 vs Z06 yellow

I bought a set of comp titanium retainers and they don't fit in the Z06 springs because the inside diameter on the top is smaller than the comp springs. And I didn't want to run too much spring pressure with the light weight valves.

I would go ahead and get the 918 springs for insurance and the 2002 ZO6 motors with there 243 heads had a little bit longer valve I am pretty sure and most people will tell you to run a either a 7.45 pushrods which I ran a few years ago in one of my friends cars I set up with the 2002 Z28 (STOCK ls1 241 Heads)and then we put the 7.40 and the valve train was a little noiser but car ran faster at the track but that was before any company made odd size 7.425 pushrod lenths. I would get the 7.40 pushrods because loose is fast. GOOD LUCK

It would make sense to minimize spring pressure to what is necessary considering RPM expectations. Given that, your valves are not as light as the Z06 sodium filled and hollow. Consider closed/open pressure, use experienced advice, and make a call. I have 915s for a XE cam up to 6200 RPM, no problems. Quicker ramp rate than a ZO6 cam.
