If you just want a cam for sound, buy a hotcam.

The hotcam is basically for weiners. I bought a hotcam once and then I grew a pair and ordered an ms3 411 to the rear wheels a hot cam may yield you 20 hp gain if your lucky

He said he wanted to have the sound, he didn't say anything about power… but I do agree. There is better cams out there but he said he wanted sound and he got it.

dont buy a cam for sound man! if you want that sound just unplug a plug wire. Get a cam for dynamics and power not the damn sound of it. Thats like buying a microwave because you like the sound of it. Nobody should do that! You get your *** out there and find the best damn microwave there is for nukin' hot pockets and what not. Why? Because it gets the job done, who gives a **** how it sounds? And in the end, you will find a good cam will always have a good sound.

Well, sorry to tell you that you wont be able to find a cam that will drive without some solid modifcations that sounds like what you want. Those rough idle cams have a bunch of valve overlap. It is gonna be tough to get something that is worth trying to drive and have that sound. You are gonna need gears if you are an M6 and stall if you are A4. A cam sound should reflect what the car is made of. You don't want this valve bender of a cam in there that lopes like someone learning how to drum. The car will run like ragged ***. Ask me how I know.

PS: 241 casting is an LS1 head.

You might want to go with a 228/232 with 595/598ish lift on a 112LSA that would sound great with the loudmouth catback and make good power and be great for daily driving. My friend has a 2002SS auto with the same a 232/234 595/598lift on a 113LSA(same cam I have) and it soundsgreat and pulls much better. Good luck

You could give TSP's Magic Stick v3 or v4 a try. The both have been proven to make killer power with a very nice sounding idle.
