Default Realistic expectations?

I am looking to get opinions on what I should expect RWHP assuming a 15% driveline loss (M6) from the following set up:

2001 LS1 20K miles out of a Vette, stock heads
226/232 604/609 113+2 Cam
Under drive pulley
BBK Shorty headers (must use Shorty because of application)
3’ straight pipe exhaust no mufflers
Typhoon 85mm intake manifold
Dual 4’ custom cold air intake (directly to outside air)
Dead nuts Dyno tune

This engine is going in a 2250 lbs car. A rough guess would be great.

Here is the car that the engine is going in. It is rear engine so traction should not be an issue. What about the RWHP opinions I have only 1 so far (thanx SOB).

the headers may hurt you a little. and you could definatly go better for the intake manifold (FAST..or stick with an LS6).

but with that much lift, and the duration...you should make 385rwhp. could easily increase that with better setup

It is a GTM. An American designed, engineered and built Supercar. Uses GM parts the way the Saleen S7 uses Ford parts. A stock LS6 (405hp) will send this car 0-60 in 3.2 sec and an 11 flat quarter. The LS7 (505hp) will do 2.98 sec. Think about what a TT set up (750hp) would do.

375-410 rwhp would be great. But that is a big range. I would like 400rwhp what could I do to improve the chances of reaching 400. Please continue with the opinions of the original set-up maybe I won't have to do anything.

I only said 375 because of exhuast. I think you were smart to get split a cam since you are limited there by the shortys. Ported heads would put you there (400) no question. I could be wrong and you may be closer than I think though. All cars respond a little differently and there are the "Freaks" out there.

Bought the basic kit (body, frame and interior) from Factory Five. Purchased all drive and suspension from F-parts and it is being built by Midwest Classics in Ohio. I will be around 95K done. Faster than an Enzo for 1/12th the price.

Thats a sweet looking car..how much was the kit?

I am using the same cam only the lifts are swapped, mine ins .609intake and .604 exhaust. I would guess about 370 to 375 rwhp with a good tune. I am using some 5.3l heads from tsp, im looking for 420 rwhp from my WS6 and 440ish with a FAST intake, maybe optimistic but it will fly either way.

Do you have to use short headers or could you maybe have someone in the area build some custom longtubes and that thing would scream.

I have close to the same cam with ported polished stock heads, pulley, headers. I am putting down 390. I also have an LS6 intake. I would say you'll probably be 370-375. If you want 400 look at getting some heads or a ported fast instead of the typhoon if you can afford it.
