cam questions
cam questions is the edelbrock cam the only cam you can use without a tune? i know its a baby cam, but i like the fact that it idles like stock and has the same power range as stock. im not looking for huge hp and my car wont see the track much at all.
i have 148k miles on it right now and the car is completely stock except for a lid. i thought about the "old man" cam from thunder,but i didnt know if i might would have to have a mild tune for it. anyhow thanks for any help

If you're not willing or can't get a tune then it's not worth getting a cam when your only mod is a lid. Money will be better spent elsewhere until you can save up for cam/springs/tune.
yeah i was planning on a set of pacesetter headers and a ls6 intake. sorry i should have mentioned that. getting a tune doesnt really bother me, just if i didnt have too that would be nice too. =)
Getting the dyno tune was a great experience, I've been twice so far. I need to change more stuff so I can go back again.
