Big cam, lots of peeps using it with good success. A custom ground cam is always better, they (TSP) can do that for you as well as myself and a few others too. You should call TSP about the MS4 though and see about fly cutting, if it needs it or not. They'll need to know about your heads as well.

I just went with PRC 5.3 2.5s/MS3 cam and was also leaning towards getting a Typhoon intake in the future. Just my .2 cents

Yea, the thyphoon cant be that terribley bad or they wouldnt keep selling, they're cheap and they look great too. How much of a HP loss would i suffer if i threw the Ms3 in and not the MS4?

That is what I would say as well. The cam may be worse then you think when you assemble the combo.

I'm building a 383 stroker off of a stock bottom end LS1 to go in my rock-crawler/street Toyo Tacoma...I'm going with fully forged eagle internals, AFR 205's, custom grind cam from TSP, 42. lb. injectors, ported LS6 fuel pump, MSD wiring, -2cc JE pistons, .040 head gaskets...nothing special, I just want to make a lot of power and torque down low.

TSP will custom grind you a cam for $370 I think, plus shipping. What are your goals with the car?

definitely get it balanced! You don't want to spend all this money, then cheap-out on balancing.
