I am considering swapping heads on my car. Its a stock cube motor and I have a set of Dart heads. I am considering the heads I have a few heads in mind and I posted this poll up for your opinions. PLEASE justify your answers.

THANK YOU

You should add TrickFlow to that list. Been reading great things about them. Also, you'll prolly wanna add more information to your post, such as what your goals are for the car.

depends entirely on your build and goals, if you want peak hp gains and not so much drivability I would say TF, if you want moderate hp gains and excellent drivability and good torque AFR, if you're on a limited budget and want to make good all around numbers Patriot are an excellent choice!

I'm going with PRC, for the price assembled ($1200) and they flow really well (300+cfm @.600 lift)with the MS3 I'm installing. Can't beat them I think, just my opinion but they aren't the best.

WCCH Edelbrocks should be considered as well, I'm having a sale on them too. They come in 200cc 215cc and 245 cc intake runners. Richard at WCCH does excellent work.

As metioned its a budget decision. IF you have money for premium heads then thats what you buy. You get what you pay for in this inducstry. Shop for bargain and heads and that's what you get, so it all depends on the budget.
Want to see who's running fast look at the cam and heads drag results and look at trap speed. ET is influenced by traction.

Always been a big fan of AFR...... but I'll prolly get either PRC or Patriot, because in of the bang for buck factor you really can't go wrong.

Having been there and done that, there is a night and day difference between bargain heads and premium heads. There is a reason the premium head costs what it does, it really is that much nicer.

I agree, you have to make up your mind just how much you want to pay, and alot of the time the performance gained will go hand in hand. I chose to shell out some money for my AFR heads, and have never second guessed my decision. I see people go with some budget heads, want more power, so they fork out the dough for a FAST setup just to TRY and equal the performance that the quality head would have gave them. Even later down the road, when they want more power again, and it will happen, they'll start to look at those "budget" heads, and contemplate stepping up to the better performers. Do it once, do it right, but that's my opinion.

Oh, and reaction time has absolutely NOTHING to do with ET. But trap speed does show power and potential
