i am not goin to do all of this at the same time. I am goin to start with the intake, cam, the valvetrain and maybe torque arm. I have about 2k right now to start with.

Guess which cam I would suggest. Maybe the one that constantly gets referred to as "The best street cam ever for an LS1'". Or the one I run. lol

The 224/224 cam is a proven all around cam.228 to 230 is cool if you want bigger and still drivable.I use the 224 and like it alot.

I wish I could have gotten some replies when I asked.

I still haven't decided on a cam for my project car. I keep changing my mind.

I have a 224/224 .581 on a 114lsa... also known as the 224R by TSP... basically like the TR224 but with more lift... It's a good cam for a DD. Check out my HP/TQ numbers in my sig

i dynoed my car the the day before graduation, and it was 102 outside and i threw 300 hp and 303 torque. I dont think it was that bad for only having a cutout and a lid at the time. It also had 146,xxx miles.

The TR224 is what I was referring to. It is listed in my sig. This is the same discussion over and over. The TR224 is not a small cam, more of a mid-sized. Stock cams are small, 235 + are large for the 346. 224 fits in the middle pretty well. Tunability is good, excellent low and mid power. Perfect for
DAILY DRIVER. Which was the question. The 224 cams come up over and over. Track times?? Don't know. It's a daily driver/street car.
