That's rather impressive. Your block destruction skills put mine to shame. I'm amazed the rotating assembly is still good. Maybe a rock or something slammed into it going down the road and cracked it at some point. Then, the added stress of driving it just perpetuated the crack. That's all I can think of.

Doubt they will give a ****, its a forged motor with heads, cam, and nitrous. They will just say I shouldnt have modded it. Besides its a real freak failure, usually people just spin a bearing or something simple but no not me, everytime I break **** I have to buy at least a new block. Last motor the rod snapped and went through both sides of the block on the stocker and now the whole front is destroyed on my forged motor.

My other thought is that the crank walked foward enough to rub or hit something.
BTW how did you get that 8.8 rear in there? Got a pic of the tq arm setup?

In all seriousness though the only thing that can cause that is a casting flaw of some sort straight from the factory. Or like above poster said about hitting a rock and then having it start to slowly weaken the block until it just decided to give out. Did you notice any oil leaks or anything before it broke like that or did it just go boom?!
