7th cylinder misfire code on 99 LS1 with hooker 1-7/8?
i'm still new to this site, but i need help debugging some problems that have accured with my new combo. When the car came back from the shop it held an idol at 2,000 and wouldn't go down unless i foot braked it and let out the clutch, made poor dyno numbers tuned for speed density, and the misfire code on cylinder number 7 is on. could that cause poor pull throughout the entire rpm band? My combo is a forged 99 ls1 block, MS4, LS6 stage 2.5 heads milled, LS6 intake, lid, bellow, 36lbz injectors, 255 fuelpump, M6, longtube hooker 1-7/8, TSP true duals 4.10,

i will have to check that out, but when the car was tuned i was driving it with him in the passenger seat using the HP-Tuners program, My car was tuned for speed density. When i'm wide open throttle it surges starting at 1500rpm to 2700 and at 3000 it detinates like it's starving for fuel running lean

they told me at the shop that it would run stronger and it would have better throttle response but it runs like **** since i got the car back, does speed density make more power than mass air or not?
