The set up i am wanting to run is the 228r and prc 5.3 2.5's, it should make good power for the track and be good on the street.

That was the setup that I was going for but I changed my mind and went with milled (59cc) LS6 heads instead. I'm really happy with it. Plenty of power down low and it screams up top. Totally streetable, too.
