Default which heads

what is the best head for the money. I have read up on the flow numbers and understand what they are. I understand that usually you get what you pay for and that all your power is in your heads so If im gonna try and go big here is the component to do so. I guess what Im asking is for example if a set of afr's on average will only make me say 15 more horses than a set of patriots and the patriots are half the price I would go with the patriots.
Car is a 93 rx7 ls1 4l60e cam will be torquer v3 intake will be ls6 and stall will be yank 3400 4:10 rear gear curb weight approx 2600

TSP 5.3 Stage 2.5 or the TEA, both seem to be big bang for the buck

I would try the new revised PRC stage 1.0 LS6 heads, with the stock valve size it give a little more needed room for the PTV clearance

best heads = best heads for YOUR SETUP. get with one of our sponsors and see what kinda of flow you need to take advantage of your cam's valve events. FWIW, my car dynoed 452rwhp with a 231/237 cam & TSP stage 2.5 5.3 heads....through a 9". it's all in the combo and how it works together. you'll notice a lot of big-donkey-dick cams don't make the kind of power i was in similar, or arguably better built, setups. but you're right, you will get what you pay for. keep your eye on the 'for sale' section on here and you might find a good deal.
