which heads
what is the best head for the money. I have read up on the flow numbers and understand what they are. I understand that usually you get what you pay for and that all your power is in your heads so If im gonna try and go big here is the component to do so. I guess what Im asking is for example if a set of afr's on average will only make me say 15 more horses than a set of patriots and the patriots are half the price I would go with the patriots.

best heads = best heads for YOUR SETUP. get with one of our sponsors and see what kinda of flow you need to take advantage of your cam's valve events. FWIW, my car dynoed 452rwhp with a 231/237 cam & TSP stage 2.5 5.3 heads....through a 9". it's all in the combo and how it works together. you'll notice a lot of big-donkey-dick cams don't make the kind of power i was in similar, or arguably better built, setups. but you're right, you will get what you pay for. keep your eye on the 'for sale' section on here and you might find a good deal.
