Hey TSP, sorry for posting shitty results, but I guess thats what you get when you choke the **** out of it. I will be getting the rest of the parts for this combo and putting some nice #'s down. I don't care what he or she said, i noticed a difference and I am happy, thanks again guys.

395/373 today, not much left in it. A friend with a TR224 and MMS S2 heads dynoed the same as me 2 hrs earlier. Don't know what the problem is.

before was 381rwhp and 370rwtq. I have a scanned copy of the run if someone can host if for me.
--------------------
2002 M6 Z28. B&B triflow, Spec Stage III clutch, TR220 cam kit,Patriot Stage II 5.3 heads, Jet hot coated Hooker long tubes and MTI lid with filter. 403 rwhp 384 rwtq
then you dynoed 400/380 picking up a whopping 19 hp and 10 trq and you expect people to praise the lord. In another post you stated you had the car tuned for the cam before the heads, while there can be some more in the tune, I doubt your going to pick up that much, you also have a 02 which also dyno a bit more than average proven by your cam only with your iddy biddy 220 cam which if you ask tunder they will tell you it will dyno only 3-5 hp less than there 224 cam

TR220 cam and Patriot Heads Dyno numbers.

I've had a ton of people mail me wanting to know how my dyno session turned out, so I'll post it here. I bought a set of the Patriot Stage II 5.3 heads and installed them on my car. The car has headers, TR220 cam, Patriot heads, MTI lid, and a B&B triflow exhaust. No Underdrive pulley, No cutout, No LS1edit tuning, Stock MAF and TB, and I dyno'd with my 17x11 rears on. I put down 400.6rwhp and 380.2rwtq on the dynojet
I dont know were the 3 extra hp in his sig came from,

O.K Gomer so it is safe to say you got around 20 hp give or take a few for dyno variance, you should agree that you should have gained more, texas speed claims 60 hp from the pp heads alone. looks like you , heritage and v8maro got the short end of the stick.

there you go 41 hp. Gomer, you would have made 3-5 more hp from the 224 cam if you still had the cam only, your car runs great, you should have more than what you have, dont take it that I dont like you or your car, look at the facts and you will see what im talking about.

the claims of misfiring and valve float with the cam only are not evident in the graph, looks like a smooth strong curve to me,

Re: PP S2 5.3L & TSP Cam Track Results
gomer: like I said, Patriot is new to the game and posts like these are gonna add fuel to the fire that they suck.
This forum has the possibility to help gearheads in a much better way than in the past. When I left left the game, you had to rely on magazines who wrote about what they got for free, take the advice of the guy at the nearest speed shop, or belive the guys you were racing. This forum is a tremendous opportunity, and then the trolls come along and polute the threads makeing it hard to get anything useful from them. When we used to hang out at Van deKamps, you could ignore them and they would go away but that doesn't work here.
I am modding my new toy, a Y2KZ28, after many years out of the game. The vendors I used to use are not available in the midwest, so I sent out a half a dozen e-mails asking for recommendations. None of the "big name" sponsors here responded. TSP, on the other hand, has been nothing but helpful. It is clear to me that they know their stuff and didn't try to sell me anything I don't need. In fact in one case, they advised me that I didn't need an item. That is refreshing honesty. And, since all the parts are in a pile in the garage, I have nothing to gain with this testimonial.
