You might be putting down a lil more than that. I have an ls2 mn6 vette and in post #3 I put what my friend's trans am put down and we ran each other and he pulls away from me with an auto trans.

I'm sure he is tuned though also correct?

I know right now my limiting factors on my combo are my stock intake & not having a tune. Me & Bo are thinking I'm gonna get pretty close to 420/400 after a tune on this combo. The heads flowed great up to about .590" lift then dropped off. Which is perfect since my cams lift is only .581" on both sides.

I just average I'm in about the 380 range since that vette was bone stock with a paper tag in the window & what the outcome was after racing 2 times in a row from the exact same speeds & starting in thrid gear both runs. I might be a little higher, but I'm pretty modest about my combo so I don't wanna try to say it's making more than I think it is currently.

i would hope that's not directed towards me...

i have plenty of dyno sheets that show my car is within 5rwp/5rwtq of my 443/402 from 3 different very reputible shops in the DFW area...

before heads when i had cam only (Ls1 intake), LT's/SLP LM, i dyno'd 376/366...then heads/Ls6 intake and stock TB i went 409/386...swapped out the Ls6 intake and stock TB for a Mamo/myself ported 90/90 w/retune and sit currently at 443/402...

i believe that the old part # for the heads I have is PN: 1225...i would suggest calling Gunnar and asking him. these heads have been on my car since Jan '07 and roughly 12-14k...these are the Ls6 Style Stage II heads, not just the Stage II Ls6 heads that they market now...

link doesn't work for me that i had saved, but here it is....

Was the vette you were running a 6 spd also? Yeah he is tuned. I was just calculating that my buddy had 405 rwhp thru an auto and he was pulling away, so for you to pull away you have to be close to that. When you get your car tuned it should be higher than my buddies 405 rwhp because of the 6 spd. My buddy does have an ls6 intake but he is about to go to a fast 92 set up. When me and my buddy ran it was a second gear roll from 50 mph its a better speed for both the auto and 6 spd.

whats your point...? who cares what my car runs...? you might like to trash your ride at the track to get the best run/time, I go for fun...

i did not build my SS to be a track car. i havent been to a 1/4mi track in over a year and when i was, it was before installing the FAST combo...
