A buddy of mine's trans am that I helped build has TR 224 ground on a 114 and a set of MTI stage 2E heads. It put down 405 at the wheels unlocked converter. At a race weight of 3830 it runs 11.60 all day on motor and 10.50 on a 150 shot.

First off its a ws6 car so all that kit bullshit, power windows, and leather seats. Second when you add the nitrous bottle and bottle heater and a half a tank of gas then the biggie is the driver weighs 250 lbs. We did the weight savings thing by putting a driver in the car that only weighed 140 lbs and the car ran 11.53.

Patriot Ls6 "Style" Stage II 59cc heads (2.02"int, 1.57"ext). These are the 6.0L truck castings welded up to the 59cc chamber size...

It's funny 99% of the asshats on this site slam Patriots. These heads have been nothing but kickass since installed. You should see the looks on people's faces when I tell them I'm running a Comp 224/Patriot heads putting down those #'s...

However, nothing beats seeing people with donkey dick cams, who jumped on the 5.3L head bandwagon, OR AFR-headed guys putting down lower numbers than me, with more mods done as well. Keeps my money in my pocket...

400rwhp/400rwtq using the stock heads with a TR224/224 cam. (+/- 1 or 2 hp)

Of course I have just about every other bolt on mod under the sun.

Can't wait to get my heads on it and see how alive they make the car then.

407 RWHP 376 RWTQ on a 224/230 .581/.588 114LSA that was tuned for a 100 shot of nitrous that gave me 509 rwhp WITH 513RWTQ!!! these were done on ported and polished 5.3L heads at 59cc's.

I had the TSP 5.3 heads and put down 377rwhp and 348rwtq through an unlocked 3600 stalled auto. Best I got out of it was 11.79@113mph.

I haven't got dyno tuned yet but I'm pretty sure I'm sitting in the 380 range right now. This is just from my experience of outrunning a LS2 vette on the highway from 60-130.

My combo is a set of stock 5.3 heads with Bo White port/polish job, milled .018", stock car valves & Patriot gold dual spring kit. Bo did the head work while Gunnar @ Patriot assembled & flowed them. Along with a Bo white port/polished stock TB.

I'm still running my LS1 intake but have a port/polished Weiand Lingenfelter aluminum intake thats goin on when the new motor is assembled. So I'll probably not get her dynoed until after the motor swap. Car runs very strong even without a tune & has never given me a single issue. Been driving it for almost a full calander year this way.
