Default stock '04 LS1 upper rpm limit?

I'm interested to know what the techies here think the upper rpm limit on the stock '04 LS1 shortblock is? I'm mostly speaking of the rotating assembly and lubrication areas. What about one with a modified valvetrain including 215/232 .598/.579 118 cam & GMPP "Caddy" racing lifters? (The rest of the combo includes stock LS6 hollow stem valves, Comp 918's set to 1.750" height, Ti retainers, and Yella Terra rockers)

Also, the application is that of a road track venue where you go from extended WOT at the end a straight to no-throttle and hard braking into a corner. I mention this as it's not exactly the same as banging gears down the strip and being able to let off more gently after going thru the traps.

Our '04 LS1 shortblocks are basically LS6's right? (LS6 block, oil pump, & rotating assembly) Are our rodbolts any better than the ill-famed weak point of the earlier LS1's?

Just looking to field some opinions as I do some research over the next few weeks...

(Opinions & advice backed up by fact and tech data would be much appreciated)

Thanks

I think in 01 all LS1 rod bolt got the better bolt than before. With the cam you are running I don't see why you would need to go over 6400 which your block will handle no problem. I have a 99 and run 65-6600 on every shift when I'm racing, so far all is well.
