opinions on best cam for.................

for a DD but can be extreme with stock block,241 heads,mass air meter,LS6 intake and 3.23 gears but swapping them would be considred? the current mods are a Yank PE 4200 stall with a 2.7 STR and FLP long tube headers,3" true duals with 3" bullet mufflers,TSP lid, MT DR's and full weight I want to get every ounce of rwhp/rwtq I can but not a "full all out" race cam but right on the borderline extreme cam

I have a few buddies who have gone 6's on the 1/8 with stock untouched 241's so swapping them is not on the menu nor is swapping the intake! it has gone 7.9 before the TUNE and MT's so looking to drop to 7.6's with them and hoping to get 7.2-7.3's with them cam! any input is appreciated!

Not to be a wisea$$ but see what your stock headed buddiies in the sixes are running and then share with the rest of us,

if you wanan go 6's, get a ford 9" with 4.56 gears. Easy and simple.

one has a Trex with a 6 speed and 4.10 gears and weight reduction, the other is a 4600 stalled bigger then the Trex(not sure on the specs) with minor weight reduction

nope! both were N/A and both are on here! Sux2bu went 6.6 1/8 and Dmcracer I think actually holds a record? he went 6.7's in the 1/8

My cam would work well for you but you could get away with a little bigger with your stall. It is on XFI/XE-R lobes 111LSA with two degrees of advance ground in. Lots of bottom end and a flat *** torque curve. First gear is worthless on street tires

If I were you though I would PM Predator-Z or Pat G and just get them to spec you one that will optimize your setup
