Default Should I sell my motor???

This might seem like a impulse thought, but I wanted to sell my entire motor and start something a little more in depth and detailed oriented. Something with higher potential. I recently finished a Heads/ cam swap on my stock short block. This included TSP LS6 stage 1 heads and MS4 cam, arp head studs, comp double roller timing set, MSD 8.5, QTP long tubes, SLP lid, K&N drop in, ported throttle body and all the supporting modifications. This motor has not been tuned, never driven on the street and only started and idled. I've heard it would be a strong motor, but it seems to have it's limits considering the stock short block, even the material of the block itself.
I wanted to begin a 402 boosted project (considering that I work for BorgWarner turbo systems), built up and down. This project would involve more "Pro-Engineering" time than anything else, something that would involve a little more skill that a h/c kit. Once again, this might seem like an impulse thought. Is this a good idea or should I stick with my current project and if I did sell it how much should I ask? (it is from a 2001 SS Camaro, so it does have LS6 intake manifold)

if you got the time and money go for it . i started to put a turbo on my ride before doing something else . did a bunch of research and just decided to go with a n/a .
your setup as is sound like it should be good . forced induction on a cube is something that needs attention even after everything is done .
good luck in your build

The problem is, I will have enough money if I sell this existing motor as is (new h/c set up and all) So what is a good asking price??

If it was a stock longblock it would not take long to sell it. Others may be wary to buy this modded engine just because they don't personally know the builder and his skill level. A stock long block LS1 usually sells in the 2K range. You can ask that + 80% of what your parts cost to start. Just a thought.

It is a stock short block, and I'll ask $5000 for the set up. I'll include all the receipts, hopefully it will sell.

You will never get 5k for a 90,000+ mile stock long block, even with the heads and MS4... you could have a 402 basically built for that.

Lol, you see stock shortblocks with that many miles going for 700-1000 bucks
