Our LSX platform engines have the filter mounted straight up and down, how is oil going to drain upward out of the filter? It really does not matter which filter you use.

I had a dyson analysis done on my GC/KN filter sample.
I will be switching over to a different oil and filter at Terry's recommendation.
Get a Dyson analysis and find out what your motor is doing. Best $60 you'll spend. Not everyone drives the same as everyone else on the board.

Truthfully it totally depends on your car and what you do with it. If it was me, PERSONALLY, I wouldnt put RP in anything but a car that hit the track often and got abused daily. Just not something I would put in my daily driven car.
With that being said any good synthetic will work great as long as you keep regular change intervals and a good filter on it.
