Yep, interested to see the track results for the Polluter.
In the meantime I'm going to rename my CC 228/232 cam to the "Incredible ********" or maybe even the "Shaft of Ultimate Smackdown" so that I can say I have a cool sounding cam too......... I mean, f' great track times and dyno #'s....... the "Va Speed cam" sounds so 90's..........and this is 2008!!!!!!!!

/\ Yes the great Megadeath, the only cam Ive ever seen go the same identical ET and MPH as a stock cam.....
This was in Houston when I was still living there, guy in a GTO running 12.40's @ 112 w/ bolt ons and stock cam. Swapped to a Megadeath and on rollers made 446RWHP/400 tq, but still ran 12.40 @ 112 Yes, what a f'n performer, lets all go buy that metalic turd and install it.. I have not seen one of those cams run any kind of decent ET's in any car.

Yeah and he also had a slipping stock clutch with the megadeath.....I'm sure that played a big deal into the performance of the car. I've seen several vettes running that cam in LS2 cars running mid 11's cam/headers/catback.
And it was 12.30's too....thatboyvic, I've sold a **** ton of parts to him. His clutch had about 150 track passes on it, then he puts in a cam and it starts to slip and he runs the same time as stock cam on a slipping clutch....durrr

We're installing a set of Kooks longtubes and a fast 92/NW combo within the next week to get some final numbers. Then we will worry about getting a 9" under it and seeing what it will do at the track.
We're putting a stock bottom end LS1 back in my TA this fall (the one in my sig) and I'll slide a polluter in it just to see what happens. Since we build a lot of 6 speeds, I'll be rowing my own gears again as well. We're aiming for the cam only/sixspeed record to begin with, and we will see just how close the polluter gets us.

.i always wanted to have a vanity plate that said CO2 4U just to ******* **** off al gore I am gonna design the greatest cam of all time..."THE CHUCK NORRIS CAM"!!! The lobes will be shaped like Chuck's knuckles and the LSA will be the width of his beard!! This cam will round-house kick the competition into oblivion!!!
I shall design a cam for DOS LS EQUIS engine you will get 99 mpg and 900hp just by putting it in your car, when you rev you engine mustangs will run in fear, and small children will cry from the noise it produces it will be THE MOST INTERESTING CAM IN THE WORLD!
stay thirsty my friends

I wonder what the LSA would actually be, and I'm quite curious of the size of cam....someone should seriously measure his knuckles and see what we get. It would have to be the best cam for any vehicle on the face of the planet.
